Palette: Cream + Grays + Hints of Yellows & Browns
This week’s photo board was inspired by an all time favorite – a hot cup of Chai Latte with extra foam. Layers of creamy lace, soft wood grains and hints of warm grays and yellows make for a perfect latte on a winter morning. All this brings me back to my summer in Paris. I’d wake up every morning to pick up some fresh bread and a smooth cup of cafe au lait. Mornings make up the rest of our day, so this weekend, treat yourself to something ever so wonderfully delightful.
Vanilla was never quite my favorite, as it was a tad plain and lacked personality. This week’s photo board was inspired by some delicious vanilla bean ice cream that I had last week. Soft whites, sea blues and spots of a variety of browns were used this week to express the flavor. Vanilla actually has a very soft aroma, and the creaminess of the flavor matches it perfectly. Finding perfection in something simple is part of the fun. Have a wonderful week!

Robber, a small yet quaint boutique in the heart of Toronto’s fashion district on Queen St. West caught my attention for the first time since I’ve been back from Montreal. Their lovely “mode” includes intricate hand-made wooden jewelry, mixed in with some fresh summer pieces and topped off with classy yet dazzling dresses that will make any girl jump for joy. Not to mention a delightful touch of eccentricity in their creative attire. What more can I say? Robber just stole my heart…
Palette: Soft Creams + Timeless Pinks + Golden Browns
This week is all about the sweetness in pink. This color palette consists of a blend of creams and timeless pinks, all held up by golden browns. Pink is a feel good color, something we all need a bit of in our daily routine. Play around with the colors and you may just fall in love.
An Australian clothing label that’s caught my eye. The overall theme of their current collection is best represented not by words but rather by their video – The Harvest.
Lola and Emily. I can’t help but picture two princesses twirling around in flowery dresses, and dainty shoes on a green pasture. No, the store doesn’t look like this but it does have a similar feminine, whimsical and flirty flare to it. A warm light draws you in from its glass windowpane, especially in the coldest of Montreal winters, and once you’re inside, it feels like gorgeous spring. The beautiful wooden bed frames, delicate gold necklaces, and luscious couture blend together to form styles ranging from an ‘edgy’ Lola to a ‘conservative’ Emily. Simply lavish.
