Palette: Reds + Grays + Yellows & Gold
This week is all about nice long walks despite the chilly weather. Ruby reds, warm grays and speckles of gold are the colors for this week. All you need in order to fight the cold is a warm stomach, your favorite scarf and a reason to venture outside. Bird watching has always been a favorite past time of mine, especially during this time of year. Beautiful Cardinals with the brightest of red feathers. Bird watching may also require a lot of patience but when you catch a glimpse of that special bird, it’s well worth the wait.

Palette: Off-White + Cyan + Browns
Vanilla was never quite my favorite, as it was a tad plain and lacked personality. This week’s photo board was inspired by some delicious vanilla bean ice cream that I had last week. Soft whites, sea blues and spots of a variety of browns were used this week to express the flavor. Vanilla actually has a very soft aroma, and the creaminess of the flavor matches it perfectly. Finding perfection in something simple is part of the fun. Have a wonderful week!

Palette: Cyan + Pastel Green + Cream + Whites
The sweet palette for this week consists of ocean cyans, pastel greens and soft cream and whites. On my best days, I would wake up early in the mornings craving for dessert. Don’t you think that baking seems magical in some ways? The way ingredients are able to mix together to create something beautiful… or if you don’t have the best of luck perhaps a little burnt around the edges. Being able to wear your favorite apron, with your wooden spoon at hand, and creating something tasty is the best feeling ever. Happy baking everyone!

Palette: Soft Creams + Timeless Pinks + Golden Browns
This week is all about the sweetness in pink. This color palette consists of a blend of creams and timeless pinks, all held up by golden browns. Pink is a feel good color, something we all need a bit of in our daily routine. Play around with the colors and you may just fall in love.

Even though weather in Toronto has been dreary to say the least, when I was looking to piece this week’s Tanti Baci post I was drawn to the yellow. Maybe it’s the promise of a sun filled weekend but I can’t wait till the rain disappears and we have warm weather again.

A. Hammond’s Candies Since 1920 – All Natural Apple Flavoured Lollipop
What a lolli! Hammond’s Candies produces a variety of all natural lollipops. If you have a sweet tooth and are looking for a good old lollipop try Hammond’s Candies.
B. Kate Spade – Keswick Caning Wide Bangle
Amongst the many things I love about Kate Spade is her use of geometric shapes. This bangle is right up my alley. I love the rich gold colour as well as the patterns.
C. J. Crew – Dip Dyed Ribbon Art Tee
It’s simple and you can pair it with other outfits (i.e. a pair of jeans or capri pants). And you can’t help but love the small flowers attached to the tee because it’s no longer just an ordinary tee.
D. Anthropologie – Walkabout Shorts
These are the perfect pair of shorts to help bring the bangle and tee together. The shorts look comfortable and comes in a beautiful canary yellow.
E. Steve Madden – Bride Sandals
When I first saw this sandal at the mall I was so close to purchasing them. It’s still on my mind which means I’ll be visiting this sandal again soon. The beading on the front makes the sandal feminine.

Recently, I’ve managed to fall madly in love with coral. The colour is absolutely stunning and makes me feel like summer’s around the corner. That’s obviously when you pull out all your pretty dresses and your wonderful, ever so faithful sandals to walk the streets of downtown. This beauty of a colour is accompanied by soft off whites as well as warm browns and golds to help bring out the simplicity of the piece. I’d have to say all that I’m missing here may be a straw hat.
This week’s Tanti Baci post has been inspired by Chanel No. 203 – Miami Peach nail polish.

A. Chanel – No. 203 Miami Peach Nail Polish
There’s a slight shimmer to this nail polish and the more coats you put on, the darker the colour is. I use 3 coats to get a darker coral, peach colour. I can’t get enough of it!
B. Anthropologie – Fretwork Flowers Cuff
This piece is simply beautiful. It’s not too flashy and not too dull. It also adds to the dress – can you say Greek goddess?
C. Kate Spade – Big Apple Bon Shopper
I’ve been a fan of Kate Spade since the beginning of 2000. This bag is a part of her current collection. With a hint of gold, you can dress it up or down.
D. Study by Tara St. James
While rifling through issue No. 7 of Boho magazine, I came across this dress and knew I had to include it in this post. I love how the detailing of the rope makes the dress look chic. Not to mention this dress is eco friendly which is definitely a plus. Her first clothing line is called The Square Project.
E. Stella McCartney – Braided Raffia and Rope Goya Halter Flat
I’d thought I’d finish the outfit with the addition of this lovely sandal. The design is simple but the braiding and bronze colour combination just warms me up. I’m ready for a summer date!
