Beauty in itself has always been nice, but there is something about unexpected beauty that makes it all the more alluring. Maybe it has something to do with discovery of something you never saw before. A llama that I visited at a local zoo was the first to come to mind that demonstrated unexpected beauty. Her eyelashes were so long, her fur was so smooth, and she had the slightest smile on her face every time she looked at you. Natural beauty at its’ best.

Warm summer evenings are one of our favorite times of the day. It’s when the sun casts an orange glow on the streets and the city lights come alive. Watching the glimmering city lights with eyes half closed is the best – making us unconscious of what the lights are and focusing more on how the lights dance against the golden city.

I’ve always walked the same path to and from home. Walking by the same corner two times a day, always in a rush. Luckily, a few little bees managed to stop and call out to me this weekend. I took the time to smell the flowers they were dancing near. The sweet scent of honey colored flowers made me realize that summer was in full bloom.
