You’ve probably wondered what happened to our daily posts. Well we’re still here but we’ve been brainstorming and trying to come up with a new schedule. We wanted to find unique content that you’ll come to love and enjoy so bear with us!
You’ll start noticing small changes and the scheduling of posts will start to shift. In fact you may have noticed that PBF is no longer on Fridays. Instead, Photo Boards will now be posted on Thursdays! While keeping the integrity of our style we hope to spark your interest. Whether it’s by introducing you to new artists and designers or providing color palettes to inspire you, we’re continuously looking for new material to dazzle you with. We’ll keep you posted!

I’ve been trying to keep up with everything but as of last Saturday evening, my faithful iMac has died. After all that we’ve been through the past 6 years… it was time. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to fix it but in the meantime I’m stuck. So today instead of posting the missing Tanti Baci posts I’ll update you on what’s going on with TPW. After a successful photo shoot, which took place two weeks ago, the images are now ready to post on ETSY. I’m hoping to have the small collection available on ETSY for Sunday but that’s only if I have a computer up and running.
TPW’s website is also coming along. It’s been a very long process but I think you’re going to love it. The new site will allow you to shop our products directly online. Some other things lined up in the coming months include another TPW giveaway. One lucky reader will win a set of TPW products from our 2010 summer collection! This summer we’re also looking to focus on some interesting DIY projects as well as some unique inspirations that will spark the artist in you – helping you set the mood for your dinner parties. And if you haven’t noticed, Wendy the Cat is back! Still furry and lovingly adorable. So make sure to read up on Wendy’s latest adventure!
Hoping you have a somewhat less stressful Thursday. I know I’m keeping my eye on Friday and looking forward to the weekend.
P.S. Don’t forget Mother’s Day is right around the corner!

The shoot was a success! We lucked out with the weather. I even managed to get sunburned. Mackenzie’s land was large and her horse was beautiful. We got some nice shots of the products in and out of action. I’m looking forward to final photos taken by the wonderful David Reyes (VNTG Photography).
We laughed a lot and had a simple lunch with some cured meats, cheeses, bread, some spicy chili and lest we forget the delicious Lorina lemonade – mmmmmm!
I thought I’d show you some photos of what we were doing while David R was busy taking photos.

+ Isn’t Mackenzie and her horse beautiful? +

+ Here is David R taking shots of Mackenzie and David M. We were all afraid that David M wasn’t going to be able to hang onto to the branch but he managed! +
+ SMILE! I love the mustaches! +

+ Mackenzie’s adorable dog Chucky! A true Wishbone look a like. +
A very warm thank you to David R + Justine + David M + Juliet + Mackenzie + Kendra + Sandra. We had lots of fun!

This Saturday I was granted my wish! The weather was perfect! Sunshine and warm temperatures. After waking up at 6 AM and getting ready we proceeded to pick everyone up. Then of course there was the 1.5 hour drive to Peterborough. We did a lot of trekking on Mackenzie’s land and found some small spots where we proceeded to take some shots. I’ll have a few snippets of photos up for Tuesday’s post to show you what the models and photographer was up to! It was a tiring day but definitely had a lot of fun! Robber was great in letting us borrow the clothes! I can’t wait for the final photos! The website is still being worked on but I hope you had a great weekend and you’re ready for May. It’s only a week away.

After much thought I decided that TPW will no longer be producing POMs. I hope no one is gravely disappointed. TPW will be focusing more on paper products such as notebooks and wedding invites. We hope to have something as creative and unique as the POMs eventually.
Today’s Tanti Baci post is also delayed and won’t be posted till this Sunday. It’s going to be a busy weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed. I’m still hoping that it won’t rain!

With four more days left I am scrambling to get everything together for the shoot. I still have so many loose ends to tie up and I’m starting to feel a bit nervous! I’ve changed the concept of this summer’s collection a bit to keep it simple but have managed to tie it in with the shoot that’s been planned for this weekend. We’ll be driving about 1.5 hour from Toronto, leaving at 7:30 AM. I’m praying it won’t rain this Saturday! I’m apologizing in advance if this week’s blog isn’t to par because I have a lot on my plate right now. But I promise that next week’s will be filled with the behind the shoot stories – the good and the bad.
Also, Wendy the Cat will not be posted up tomorrow. It will resume as per usual at the beginning of May. Hectic schedules. What can I say? But I promise that the next Wendy the Cat post will be fun so look forward to it.

TPW’s summer shoot is less than 2 weeks away and there’s still so much to prepare. But this Saturday I had the joy of visiting the Robber store, located at 863 Queen St. W. Toronto. The dresses were all beautiful but we were able to narrow our choices down to 4 pieces. I think that they’re going to look great with the summer line. So here’s a sneak peek at the outfits we’ve lined up.

It’s now April and I have yet to finish TPW’s summer collection. I’ve started but there’s still so much to do. I now need to focus and take all the research I’ve done in order complete the designs. And let’s not forget that the TPW photo shoot is coming up at the end of this month. I’m excited but this month will be quite taxing.

My list of things to do has been growing steadily. But I wanted to share with you a wonderful giveaway. Next week I’ll be opening up a giveaway that’s traveled all the way from Japan. Yumiko Sekine, from Fog Linen Work, has been wonderful enough to send some catalogues as well as beautiful books she has collaborated with other artists in order to produce. I’ll be taking some shots of the books over the weekend to post up next week so make sure to look out for the giveaway. On this note, I’d like to say how wonderful Yumiko was and how much I’ve come to love her linens and other products. I’ll be doing a Bee’s Knees post on her in the coming week.
