Palette: Cream, Green, Blue, Gold
This week’s palette is meant to help keep our minds off of the cold weather that we’ve been having. Icy blues are warmed by sage greens and hints of gold. During the hours of light snow, the sun would occasionally peak from behind the clouds, making the snow glitter as they fall. The smell of snow is so different from rain. It smells of stolen aromas and mountains that we’ve never seen, which makes it all the more beautiful. Stay warm and have a wonderful weekend!

A new year calls for a clean slate. And this is exactly what this week’s palette reflects. Soft, creamy whites are decorated with lovely blues, and grounded with timeless silvers. January is a resting month for most. It’s the lull the proceeds after all the holiday festivities. This is the perfect time to turn on some jazz and sit back with all your favorites. This week’s palette is laid back and gentle, with rosy pinks, cashmere off-whites and warm grays. Before a weekend long of holiday festivities, we all need a small moment to ourselves. I can only imagine all the wonderful sweaters and glittery tops worn at holiday parties. And of course the shoes and that favorite necklace of yours that someone special has given to you. Palette: Green + Red + Gold
With Christmas just around the corner, trees are being decorated in green and red and houses are brightly lit. Here at TPW, we like to enjoy it a little bit differently. For this week’s palette, we have soft sea greens, coral reds and glittering golds – a slight twist to the traditional green, red and golds. Winter is one of my favorite seasons. There’s something special in waking up to houses peaking from underneath the blankets of white snow and evening walks amongst the lights that dance on front porches. This week is all about nice long walks despite the chilly weather. Ruby reds, warm grays and speckles of gold are the colors for this week. All you need in order to fight the cold is a warm stomach, your favorite scarf and a reason to venture outside. Bird watching has always been a favorite past time of mine, especially during this time of year. Beautiful Cardinals with the brightest of red feathers. Bird watching may also require a lot of patience but when you catch a glimpse of that special bird, it’s well worth the wait.

This week’s photo board was inspired by an all time favorite – a hot cup of Chai Latte with extra foam. Layers of creamy lace, soft wood grains and hints of warm grays and yellows make for a perfect latte on a winter morning. All this brings me back to my summer in Paris. I’d wake up every morning to pick up some fresh bread and a smooth cup of cafe au lait. Mornings make up the rest of our day, so this weekend, treat yourself to something ever so wonderfully delightful.

Palette: Off-White + Cyan + Browns
Vanilla was never quite my favorite, as it was a tad plain and lacked personality. This week’s photo board was inspired by some delicious vanilla bean ice cream that I had last week. Soft whites, sea blues and spots of a variety of browns were used this week to express the flavor. Vanilla actually has a very soft aroma, and the creaminess of the flavor matches it perfectly. Finding perfection in something simple is part of the fun. Have a wonderful week!

Palette: Cyan + Pastel Green + Cream + Whites
The sweet palette for this week consists of ocean cyans, pastel greens and soft cream and whites. On my best days, I would wake up early in the mornings craving for dessert. Don’t you think that baking seems magical in some ways? The way ingredients are able to mix together to create something beautiful… or if you don’t have the best of luck perhaps a little burnt around the edges. Being able to wear your favorite apron, with your wooden spoon at hand, and creating something tasty is the best feeling ever. Happy baking everyone!

This week is all about dreaming, coated with subtle hints of violet, rich greens and a variety of browns. We’re all dreamers, and we know that nothing is better than to silently lay in a field of grass dotted with wild flowers. Walking bare feet on lush, green grass while collecting wild flowers under the beaming sun is the greatest escape. Decorate your house with your favorite wild flowers or surprise someone special with a beautiful bouquet! Have a wonderful one!

Palette: Ocean Blues + Golden Yellows + Soft Browns
This week’s palette consists of a variety of ocean blues, golden yellows, and soft browns. The warm weather has triggered my cravings for my favorite jasmine tea ice cream, and how can we forget the childhood favorite – soft serve ice cream and popsicles from the infamous white truck. The thought of basking under the beaming sun on the beach makes me reminisce of lemonade stands and the sound of gentle waves washing against the shore. I hope all of you get a chance to treat yourself to some ice cream this weekend. Have a wonderful sun-filled weekend!
